Handling refunds
Whether your customer has canceled their order or you’re unable to fulfill it, Zip gives you full control over issuing refunds. You can decide whether to issue a full refund or just a partial one.
Refund a payment
- Go to the Payments page in your Zip dashboard.
- Find the payment you want to refund
- Scroll through the Payments list and click on the payment you wish to refund. This will take you to the payment details page. Click the Refund button to start the refund process.
- Alternatively, you can click on the 3 dots next to the payment in the list and select Refund payment.
- You can decide to refund the full amount or choose a partial amount, depending on the situation.
- After selecting the refund amount, confirm the refund, and you’re done! The refunded amount will be processed, and your customer will be notified.
